Tags: * prohibit authors from reviewing competing papers

"By having authors as reviewers, I think it greatly mitigates the problem of not having enough reviewers.
However, I wonder if there are ""implicit conflicts of interest"", i.e. when authors review papers on
similar topics as their own submissions, they might tend to speak low of it (e.g. more focus on weaknesses
instead of contributions) in order to increase the probability of their own work being accepted. Also,
someone might tend to reject a paper because they have a similar paper rejected. Of course, these thoughts
aren't proper at all for a responsible reviewer, but I wonder if we have ways to prevent these thoughts."
