"The document asserts that ARR has reduced peer review workload, but it provides no empirical evidence 
for this assertion based on the experiment of using ARR. All the argumentation is based on first principles 
that could have been asserted without even running the experiment. My personal experience of ARR is 
that (1) the reviews on my submissions were about as good as before, maybe a bit less thoroughSEMICOLON 
(2) my assignments as a reviewer were much less aligned with my expertiseSEMICOLON (3) the process of 
reviewing was far less interactive and therefore less interestingSEMICOLON (4) the number of papers 
that I have reviewed over the past year is about the same as it was before ARR. To the extent that effort 
was reduced, it was mainly by eliminating interaction with other reviewers, ACs, and authors. I'm not 
sure this is a good tradeoff."
