"My biggest issue with ARR, serving as an action editor, is that I hardly ever get any clear information
about all the relevant deadlines (reviewer deadlines et.c., or even my meta review deadlines). Sometimes
these are also changed without informing me as an AE. These basic issues needs to be resolved before
moving on with ARR. I also strongly support longer periods than 4 weeks, and avoiding holidays. It is
insane to send an email on December 24 (which is a public holiday in my country), and expect actions
by December 27. I did not even read those emails before it was too late. These were also deadlines I
had never been informed about beforehand. In general, though, I think ARR could probably be turned into
a working system for the major conferences."
