"To me, the entire point of rolling review is lost if the reviews aren't directly tied to acceptance
decisions. As a student, having a regular deadlines relieves a lot of stress, but that only works if
the deadlines are real deadlines (like at CSCW) and not weird semi-deadlines where the reviews might
mean something or might not and I might get the reviews in time for a conference or might not. The current
ARR completely confuses me (I mean that its motivations confuse meSEMICOLON I've finally understood
the labyrinthine mechanics), and so it was difficult to fill out this survey, which asked about very
specific changes that to my mind are beside the point. Some of the questions were also worded in a confusing
way, and so I answered ""no opinion"" for those questions."
