Since November 2017, I am a Researcher at Microsoft Research Montreal.
I got my PhD from CIS, LMU Munich under supervision of
Prof. Hinrich Schütze,
working mainly on the problem of fine-grained entity typing.
Before PhD, I did my M.Sc at Sharif University of Technology
and my B.Sc at University of Tehran, both in Tehran, Iran.
My main research interests are representation learning, text-based knowledge base completion, distributional semantics, deep learning and its applications in natural language understanding.

- Nov 2017: My journal submission (Corpus-level Fine-grained Entity Typing) got accepted at JAIR.
- Oct 2017: Invited talks at ECE, University of Tehran, and at the Deep Learning in NLP seminar, Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.
- Sep 2017: Defending my PhD thesis with this title: "Distributed Representations for Fine-grained Entity Typing."
- Sep 2017: Co-organizing 1st workshop on Subword and Caracter LEvel Models in NLP (SCLeM) at EMNLP 2017.
- Sep 2017: Attending Google NLP summit in Zurich.
- Mar 2017: Invited talk at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
- Dec 2016: Two long papers are accepted for EACL2017.
- Oct 2016: Starting my three months research internship at Intuit Inc. in Mountain view, California.
